Our Story

Sky and Lauren both earned their law degrees from the South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas, and have been actively practicing law since 2012. Before joining forces to establish Haggar & Brown PLLC, they spent over a decade building diverse, high-level careers across the corporate, courtroom, and government sectors.

Meet the Partners

Sky Brown

Sky brings extensive experience advising organizations on commercial transactions, contracts, regulatory matters, and legal risk. His career includes service as in-house counsel for a national retailer, an engineering company, and a national nonprofit organization, as well as prior commercial litigation experience. His work has included negotiating commercial and government contracts, advising on commercial leases, developing ethics and compliance programs, and managing litigation and outside counsel.

Sky also serves as a Major and Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force Reserve and previously served as a federal immigration judge.

Lauren Haggar-Brown

Lauren brings a combination of litigation experience, business legal work, and firsthand experience managing business operations. Her legal background includes family law litigation and work involving an industrial piping supplier, with exposure to corporate and commercial matters. As a business owner and operator, Lauren understands that legal decisions must make sense not only on paper but also in the day-to-day operation of a business. She brings that practical perspective to helping clients identify legal concerns, evaluate their options, and make informed decisions.
